Starting Saturday, May 30, and running through June 27, the annual gathering “for people building a brighter future” takes place at various locations in Healdsburg. Music at Furthermore

The Music Lounge at the Furthermore/Cobb tasting room presents a John Coltrane Centennial celebration on Friday night, with Jeff Pierce, Kendrick Freeman, Randy Vincent and Chris Amberger. Whiskey Bent

Market Day

The Saturday Farmers’ Market is a great place to spend a Saturday morning, shopping and connecting with the agricultural community. It’s in the new Foley Family Community Pavilion, 3 North St., from 8:30am to noon. Buy fresh local produce, snacks and crafts, plus listen to live music from Avalanche.

Spicy Vines

Jovino Santos Neto

Brazilian pianist and composer Jovino Santos Neto teams up with bassist Scott Thompson and drummer David Flores to present his Brazilian music in a piano trio format. Compositions by Neto, Hermeto Pascoal and Marcos Valle will serve as points of departure for their inspired musical conversations on The 222 stage. Jazz with Spirits

City Council

Ariel, Madeline, David, Ron and Chris return to the dais for the month of June, to consider the issues and policies that affect daily life in Healdsburg. Pavilion Market

Tuesdays in the Plaza          

For the second time this summer, the city takes over the historic Plaza from 5-8pm for a picnic party and dance. Ariel Marin, a refreshingly eclectic singer influenced by a multitude of styles including folk, rock, R&B, gospel, classical and pop, climbs the stage at 6pm. Food trucks open at 5pm, music starts at 6pm, picnicking and dancing encouraged, until 8pm.

Wednesday, June 3

City Commissions

The first meeting of the Station Area Specific Plan Community Advisory Committee will take place at Council Chambers, 6pm on this date. The CAC will look at the area surrounding the future SMART platform at the Hudson Street Depot.

Galloping Galleries

Art Nite Healdsburg is a community event celebrating art and creativity. Over 20 galleries participate, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and the arts community.
