Local parents in search of fun and excitement for their
preschool-aged kids, take heart. Help is on the way.
The WESCO youth soccer organization is offering an outdoor
summer program targeting children aged three and four years of
age. The program has been spearheaded by WESCO members Noelle
Randolph and Debby Bauman, who recognized the lack of organized
instruction for local preschoolers.
“I started this program because there were no outdoor sports
opportunities for children in the under-5 age group,” said
Randolph. “As a parent of a young child, I heard other parents
talking about wanting an outside sports exposure opportunity in
Sebastopol.”
Registration is currently under way to sign up for the program,
which will include one practice per week, on Monday evenings from
5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The practices will be held on the Upper
field at Apple Blossom School, 700 Water Trough Rd. in
Sebastopol.
The six-week program has a cost of $60 per child and is
scheduled to begin next Monday, July 13.
