June is ‘jazz month’ in Healdsburg

Jake Shimabukuro will perform in Healdsubrg on Father's Day, June 15.
The Healdsburg Jazz Festival seems as if it must be modeled after a film festival, with multiple venues offering different artists throughout the day. There are the featured events, sure–a Juneteenth Celebration, a Father’s Day Concert, headline shows at Bacchus Landing – but it’s the little gigs that count.

A workshop on the art of wreath-making, crafting personal holiday pieces chock-full of fragrant Sonoma County evergreens. Learn during the two-hour class, and leave with a handcrafted wreath. $145 including premium wines and gourmet culinary snacks from Chef Charlie Palmer, on Nov. 21 and Nov. 23.
