Channeling Joni
The Joni Mitchell Situation presents the poet-songwriter with heart and good humor. The Situation includes Kate Foley-Beining, vocals, with husband Christian on guitar leading a trio. Dan Martin and the Noma Rocksteady Band take over the intimate stage and open-air dance hall on Friday for $10. Market Pop-up
The Healdsburg Farmers’ Market previews its new venue at the Foley Community Pavilion on this first day of spring. Explore a lively gathering of local farmers, food vendors and artisans while enjoying the Pavilion’s amenities and downtown location. Opens at 8:30am, goes to noon at 5 North St.

First Latine open-air market in town this year will also test out the Foley Family Community Pavilion. The bazaar will be held on third Thursdays all summer long, from 4-9pm. Classical Sisters
The Aznavoorian Sisters have performed classical music together since early childhood, even with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on a live PBS broadcast. They draw on their Armenian heritage for an important part of their cello and piano repertoire, and have worked with many of the world’s leading composers. Hotel Jazz
The Music Series features some of the region’s best players performing an eclectic mix of jazz with diverse influences—Cuban, Romani, blues, Brazilian and jazz standards both rare and well known. The new pavilion gets a workout this weekend, with Sunday’s Community Health & Resources Fair from 1-5pm. This free community event connects residents with local resources, information and programs related to housing, utilities and sustainable living in Healdsburg. Irish Humor
Humorist David Nihill returns to the Raven on Sunday, where last year he built a connection with the local audience as he developed his Irish-American act.
