Someday we’ll laugh about this . . . right? Chicken, Chicken, Chicken, Hang On, Is That a—Goose?
If you drive on Arata, you’ve probably noticed the field full of chickens. They are in a smaller, fenced pen that is rotated to different spots, and when they are near the road you can see them up close, wandering around, pecking at food and doing other chicken things. Funding freedom
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution spells out five rights of every American against which the government may not construct any laws to restrict, alter or eliminate. These rights and freedoms are only in place so long as enough citizens demand them, a free press protects them and supportive legal arguments win their day in court. These freedoms and other parts of our Bill of Rights have come under continuous legal and governmental attack during the long history of our nation. We believe this is so today.

Yale Whiffenpoofs to land on Raven stage Sunday
The very name “Whiffenpoofs” is whimsical, but followers of the collegiate music space know that the repertoire and reputation of this Yale University a cappella group is anything but laughable. Sure there are old Yale drinking songs, certainly a bit of jazz-era energy, as well as more modern pop. But are they classical? And what exactly is a “whiffenpoof” anyway?
