Ever wake up and make a beeline for your coffee grinder, only to discover you’re out of beans? The horror! Two entrepreneurial Healdsburg siblings are here to save the day: Celia, 13, and Quinn, 10, just opened their second sidewalk coffee-bean hut here in town, at the intersection Johnson and Sherman streets. (The first one opened last fall at 316 Sunnyvale Dr.) This ambitious young duo runs a home-roasting business called the Cequin Coffee Company.

They shared the good news with neighbors on Facebook a couple of weeks ago: “Second Location Open! Cequin Coffee House on Johnson near Sherman in Healdsburg! Picture this: who doesn’t love an evening stroll down the best walking street in Healdsburg? And now you can snag a bag of fresh roasted beans on your way through!” The beans cost $12 per pound, on the honor system — you can either use the cash drop in the hut or pay via Venmo. And FYI, these ambitious kids also do home deliveries, if walking out the door feels hard.
