Editor: Roughly seven years ago, our small town of Healdsburg

Local schools are welcoming back students and teachers from their summer break, which officially ended three weeks ago and we wish everyone a successful year of learning, personal growth and good health.

We are a group of Healdsburg residents who represent a variety of political affiliations and opinions. But we are united in our belief that Healdsburg residents, City Council, City staff, and employee unions need to work together NOW to solve the financial/pension crisis that Healdsburg, like so many other communities, is facing.

Fundraiser meal

I worked at the Healdsburg Library for over 25 years before I retired last year. Something I always wanted to try with the library was to bring world class literary talent to Healdsburg.
