The Healdsburg High School Boosters Club has approved the
following new board members and officers for the 2006-07 school
year.
Kim Thompson is the new President. He is joined on the governing
board by Norm Buchignani, Vice President; Chris Giammona,
Secretary; Jim Brush, Treasurer and Richard Bugarske, Membership
Chair.
The officers and board members at large are: Martha Brooks,
Linda Cameron, out-going co-presidents Wayne and Pauline Rogers,
Kim Collins, Dorothy Studer, Nancy Carlson, Gina Fontana and
Michael Coughtry. John Crockenberg is again the golf tournament
chair.
The Boosters Club supports the high school¹s 17 athletic teams
and during the last three years the organization has contributed
$120,000 to the HHS sports program. The organization has three
important sources of income: the annual membership drive, a golf
tournament at Tayman Park (on Oct. 1 this year) and the snack bars
at Recreation Park and HHS gym. Booster Club members pay a slightly
discounted admission price for HHS home games and meets.
All parents whose children are involved in high school sports
are encouraged to attend Boosters meetings. The next meeting will
be on June 5 at 6:30 p.m. in room 20 at the high school. For
information contact Kim Thompson, 433-1630, [email protected].
