Tuesday, Dec. 9

8:56am A 56-Year-Old (YO) man at West Plaza Park on North Street was arrested and brought to county jail for violation of probation.

11:13am The Reporting Party (RP) on Philip Drive said a former employee took a vehicle three years ago and registered it in the employee’s name. The employee also took the paperwork and information regarding the vehicle from the office. An officer spoke with the RP who agreed to try to locate more paperwork regarding the vehicle.

12:34pm The RP on Healdsburg Avenue said a road rage incident occurred on Hwy 101 and the RP was followed into town. The RP was advised to drive to the police station. Officers contacted both parties near the police station and determined no crime had occurred.

1:50pm A vehicle was stopped for reckless driving on Dry Creek Road. The driver and passenger were cited for possession of marijuana.

3:04pm The RP, an employee at St. John’s on Matheson Street, said a parent at the school saw a man on a bench urinating on himself. Officers responded and arrested a 64-YO man for public intoxication and resisting arrest. The man was transported to Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital.

3:38pm The RP in “Birdland” said his mother left the residence angry. The RP believed she went to Lake Sonoma to release a raccoon that she trapped. The RP was worried for her safety as well as the citizens of Healdsburg due to her anger. The information was broadcast to units on patrol.

Wednesday, Dec. 10

9:02am The RP at L&M Motel on Healdsburg Avenue stated that a man was assaulted by his brother. The victim wanted to press charges. He had visible injuries, but declined medical assistance. A report regarding the battery was taken. The area was checked, but the suspect was unable to be located.

5:50pm Petty theft occurred on Kennedy Lane. The RP said a man on a bike was near an open door of a work truck. He left after being confronted by a worker. Subsequently, the RP discovered items were missing from a different work truck. Officers contacted the RP.

Thursday, Dec. 11 

2:11pm The RP at True West Film Center on Healdsburg Avenue said there were eight to 10 homeless people nearby in the bench area. Officers arrived and gave advice to multiple people.

2:36pm A 54-YO woman at West Plaza Park on North Street was arrested and brought to county jail for carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and violation of probation.

3:51pm The RP at Healdsburg Liquors on Center Street said a man urinated in public while the RP walked with his son. The man saw the RP and quickly left. The RP wanted to press charges. A 41-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for indecent exposure, public urination and violation of probation.

Friday, Dec. 12 

7:08am The RP said a vehicle was driven recklessly on Harmon Street. Officers arrived, but the vehicle was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

9:31am The RP said he was punched near St. John’s Church on Matheson Street. The RP wanted to press charges. Officers contacted both parties involved in the incident. A 40-YO man was arrested and transported to county jail for battery and violation of probation.

2:55pm A person in West Plaza Park on North Street was cited for consumption of alcohol in a city park.

4:32pm A vehicle was stopped for lacking a license plate on West North Street at Vine Street. A 40-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail on an outstanding out-of-county warrant regarding failure to appear in court.

8:56pm Reckless driving occurred near Chevron on Healdsburg Avenue. A swerving truck headed southbound on Hwy 101. A Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert was broadcast to officers on patrol.

Saturday, Dec. 13 

10:34am The RP at the West Plaza Parking Lot on Healdsburg Avenue stated a homeless person walked through the farmers’ market stealing from vendors. The RP did not know if vendors wanted to press charges, but the RP requested that the person be asked to move along. Officers arrived and advised the person of the complaint.

11:13am The RP said someone at Wells Fargo Bank on Vine Street tried to cash the RP’s check. Wells Fargo did not cash it, so the RP did not lose money. The teller stated that the identification used did not look like the man attempting to cash the check. Wells Fargo advised the RP to follow up with the Healdsburg Police Department. It was determined that the incident should be handled by the Santa Rosa Police Department. An incident number was provided.

1:32pm An accident occurred on Healdsburg Avenue at North Street. The RP stated that after a fender bender he attempted to pull over, but the other party drove off. The RP said he was at fault for accidentally hitting the back of the other car. An incident number was provided.

2:07pm A man urinated in the driveway near Harmon Guest House on Healdsburg Avenue. The staff cleaned it up and 30 minutes later the man returned and did it again. The RP wanted to file trespass paperwork against the man. Officers identified the man. Staff agreed to go to the police department to file the trespass paperwork.

9:04pm An unlicensed driver was cited and released for driving without a license near Enso Village on Boxheart Drive.

Sunday, Dec. 14

9:38pm A burglary was reported in progress on Green Hill. The incident was transferred to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
