Monday, July 13
6:27am Hammering was heard on Prentice Drive at March Avenue prior to being allowed by city ordinance. The Watch Commander canceled the response because there was only one caller and he believed the construction was from March Avenue construction.
9:14am Fraud occurred at Dovetail Collection on Healdsburg Avenue. The Reporting Party (RP) said a customer purchased a gold ring valued at approximately $8,900 through the RP’s website. The credit card payment cleared and the funds were transferred. After the RP shipped the ring, the customer disputed the charge as fraudulent.
11:02am Fraud occurred at the United States Postal Service (USPS) on Foss Creek Circle. The RP provided documents about a check that was altered, and cleared. A report was taken and an incident number was provided.
12:02pm The RP on Jasmine Court said her son and his vehicle were missing. Her son was last known to be in Lake County after leaving around 6pm on July 10. The RP last communicated with him by text on July 12. He stated he would be home by 8pm, but he did not return. A report was taken.
7:25pm A vehicle with a loud exhaust raced on Chiquita Road at Grove Street. The RP said the reckless driving was an ongoing issue involving the same vehicle. The incidents typically occurred around 7:20pm. A Be On the Look Out (BOLO) notification was sent to officers.
Tuesday, July 14
7:27am The RP said a hit-and-run accident occurred on Matheson Street. There was damage to the front bumper and license plate frame of a vehicle. The RP wanted to press charges. An officer responded and took a report.
9:07am An officer advised a person in Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue about the city ordinance regarding camping.
4:08pm The RP at Railroad Park on Front Street said someone stole the RP’s fishing rod valued at $80-$120 while the RP was fishing. The RP went to check on his other rod and when he returned it was gone. The RP did not see anyone in the area and did not have suspect information. The information was logged. The police department planned to call the RP if the fishing pole was turned in.
10:27pm An unlicensed driver was cited on Grove Street after being stopped for speeding. The vehicle was released to the driver’s mother.
Wednesday, July 15
10:12am The RP at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue said the vehicle belonging to the RP’s partner was hit around 12:56pm on July 14, 2026. The suspect fled. The driver side and bumper of the vehicle were damaged. The RP obtained video footage from Big John’s Market. An officer met the RP and the other party and facilitated the exchange of information.
11:04am The RP on Mountain View Drive said a file folder she kept in an evacuation bag was missing. She last saw it 2-3 weeks ago. It contained her passport, social security card, birth certificate, birth certificates of her grandchildren, and other documents. The RP did not want to press charges and agreed to have another person help her look for the missing folder.
1:33pm The RP at Taco Grande on Center Street said her bag was stolen from her unlocked vehicle on July 14, 2026. A purchase was attempted on one of her stolen cards for $500. An officer met with the RP and took a report.
Thursday, July 16
2:56pm A transient at West Plaza Park on North Street banged on the glass of True West Cinemas. He was asked to leave. Subsequently he walked off but was still in the area. Officers responded, and the 26-Year-Old (YO) man was arrested for violation of probation and brought to county jail.
4:02pm The RP at Rotten Robbie on Healdsburg Avenue said a woman sold drugs from a tan vehicle. The RP saw her sell small packages that he presumed contained drugs at all hours of the day. Most recently he saw her that morning. The information was forwarded to patrol officers.
5:06pm Three RPs on Sunnyvale Drive said there was a domestic dispute between a man and woman. One caller said the woman appeared to be the victim, and the man smashed the woman’s cell phone on the ground. Another caller said one of the parties tackled the other. Officers arrested a 63-YO man and took him to county jail for domestic battery.
6:11pm The RP on Healdsburg Avenue at Sunnyvale Drive said drug sales happened near the gym he visited. He witnessed suspected drug deals on July 16 and July 17, 2026. The subjects involved approached the RP when the RP was in his vehicle because the suspects thought he was a buyer. The suspects in a vehicle left as the RP called to report them. The RP was advised to call the police department if he saw the suspects again. The information was forwarded to officers on patrol.
6:42pm The RP’s vehicle at Safeway on Vine Street was hit while parked in the lot. The RP wanted a police report to get access to security footage. An officer responded and took a report.
Friday, July 17
12:28am The RP on First Street said her husband got angry on July 4 and hit her on the head with a bottle of wine three times. The RP went to the ER for her injuries. The RP’s husband claimed she fell and hit her head on the table. The RP had texts between friends as documentation of the incident. A 38-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for assault with a deadly weapon and corporal injury to a spouse.
7:15am The RP on College Street said there was construction noise before 7:30am which was not allowed by city ordinance. The construction crew was advised of the city ordinance, and they stopped construction until 7:30am.
10:06am An officer at the USPS on Foss Creek Circle followed up with the USPS regarding lost checks that were put into the post box. Check numbers were provided.
Saturday, July 18
9:58am The RP at USPS on Foss Creek Circle stated a check had been altered, including the payee name and date. Paperwork was provided to the officer working on the case. The RP was given the case number, and a report was taken.
8:52pm A patient at Healdsburg General Hospital on University Avenue was discharged and refused to leave. Officers responded, but the patient still refused to leave. The 40-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for trespassing.
9:23pm The RP on Alexandria Drive heard 20-30 shots fired. The RP believed the shots came from near Big John’s Market or Garrett’s Ace Hardware. An officer checked the area and was unable to locate evidence regarding the gun shots.
10:23pm Three RP’s called to say they heard possible gun shots fired at Badger Park on Heron Drive. Officers responded and checked the area. Officers spoke with multiple people who advised the shots seemed to come from the bridge and Memorial Beach area. Officers canvassed the area, but were unable to locate evidence of a crime.
Sunday, July 19
5:41pm The RP at Plaza Park on Healdsburg Avenue said that a person was upset about trash, approached the RP and pushed him to the ground. Subsequently the RP went to the Parkland Farms area. The RP was asked twice if he wanted to press charges, and he declined. He only wanted to advise officers about the situation.
10:09pm A 46-YO man at Rotten Robbie on Healdsburg Avenue was cited and released on his outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
