
Monday, March 9
2:13pm There was a verbal argument near Summit State Bank on Vine Street. Officers responded and contacted the parties. All parties left the area.
6:40pm The Reporting Party (RP) on Mill Street saw a vehicle hit a lamppost near the Mill District. The light fixture came off and the fender hung from the vehicle. Officers located the vehicle and the driver at the residence of the registered owner of the vehicle. A 45-Year-Old (YO) man was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI) and hit-and-run.
Tuesday, March 10
8:20am An employee at the United States Postal Service on Foss Creek Circle was asked to leave due to unwanted behavior. He originally refused but while the RP was on the phone with dispatch, he left. The RP agreed to call back if he returned. The employee had a history of physical altercations with other postal employees and intentional aggravation of other postal employees.
1:20pm The windshield of a vehicle on Maxwell Street was damaged on March 9, 2026. The RP believed the damage was deliberate. The RP planned to call back if she could find video footage.
1:48pm The RP on Center Street was defrauded of $26,750 when a hacker pretended to be the RP to the buyer of a potable water trailer. The hacker also pretended to be the buyer to the RP. An officer met with the RP and took a report. The RP was working with the Houston Police Department regarding the case.
5:27pm The RP on Lorraine Court mailed a check to Chase Card Services. The check was stolen while in transit. It was subsequently altered and then cashed for $7,465.30. Advice and an incident number was provided to the RP.
10:33pm A 39-YO man near the former site of Rite Aid Drugstore on Healdsburg Avenue was arrested and brought to county jail for violating probation.
11:38pm The RP said she was followed by an unknown vehicle when she entered Healdsburg. She was advised to drive to the Healdsburg Police Department on Center Street. The other vehicle drove by the RP at the police department and turned around. An officer pulled over the other vehicle near L&M Village on Healdsburg Avenue. The driver was cited for stop sign violations and was advised not to follow the RP.
Wednesday, March 11
10:32pm A person camped near the former site of Rite Aid Drugstore on Healdsburg Avenue. A 41-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for violation of probation.
Thursday, March 12
6:21pm The RP at Victory Apartments on East Street believed her ex-husband stole her driver’s license and would not give it back. His mother was at the scene and argued with the RP. His mother would not let the RP retrieve items from the residence even though the RP was still on the lease and lived there. Officers responded, and the RP retrieved the property. An officer spoke with the RP’s ex-husband on the telephone and gave him advice.
7:19pm A man at Starbucks Coffee on Vine Street harassed baristas and a delivery driver. The RP said the man videotaped the delivery driver inside his truck and subsequently asked for $100 from staff to stop him from posting the video. He said the video would show that food and beverages were not stored properly. While dispatch gathered information, the RP said the man walked toward his vehicle. The RP planned to call back if the man returned.
8:40pm The RP on Healdsburg Avenue heard a person scream. Officers responded and did not find anything amiss.
11:27pm A traffic stop for violation of registration rules occurred on Healdsburg Avenue at Alexander Valley Road. A 52-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for possession of drug paraphernalia and on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding driving with a license suspended for DUI. A 55-YO man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Friday, March 13
2:14pm Multiple callers on Healdsburg Avenue at Plaza Street saw a vehicle hit a curb, a light pole and another vehicle. The driver got out of his vehicle, then got back in and drove off southbound on Healdsburg Avenue. One caller said the suspect drove behind Safeway on Vine Street. The vehicle was missing the right front side panel and had flat tires. An officer stopped the vehicle on Hwy 101 near Mill Street. A 54-YO man was arrested and booked for DUI and hit-and-run. Officers contacted witnesses at the scene.
3:43pm The RP said a man slept on the corner of a parking lot of an apartment complex. A large dog tied to a tree lay next to him. The RP verbally tried to wake him up but was unsuccessful. An officer responded. A 52-YO man was cited on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding driving with a license suspended for DUI, violation of vehicle registration rules and lacking proof of car insurance. At 6:32pm, the same man was seen on Grove Street at Foss Creek Circle. He was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. He fell while walking and had a dog and bottle of alcohol with him. He was arrested and transported to county jail for public intoxication. His dog was transported to the Humane Society.
Saturday, March 14
3:06pm A car near Rotten Robbie on Healdsburg Avenue hit the RP while the RP was riding his bike. The RP declined medical assistance. The other party stopped and provided her phone number only. She did not provide her name or further information. An officer responded and took a report.
5:44pm A vehicle on March Avenue at University Street was stopped. A 35-YO man was arrested and brought to county jail for DUI and driving without a license.
8:13pm A vehicle on Center Street sideswiped the RP’s vehicle and then sped off. The RP was not willing to press charges. Officers went to the residence of the suspect. Information was exchanged between the parties.
Sunday, March 15
1:52am A person stole beer from the 7-Eleven on Healdsburg Avenue. Officers responded and contacted the staff at the store. The employee was not willing to press charges. Information was noted, but no report was taken.
7:30am A person was sleeping on Matheson Street in a front-door alcove. An officer responded. The person agreed to pack up and move along.
8:55am The RP near Punch Clothing Store on Healdsburg Avenue said a truck followed her around for several blocks after she backed out of a parking space. Officers contacted the RP and provided advice.
1:52pm A driver on South Fitch Mountain Road at Heron Drive sped and crossed lanes. The information was broadcast to officers.
4:31pm The RP’s rental car was hit in the parking lot of Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue. The RP left without noticing the damage. Once the RP realized the vehicle was hit, the RP returned to the store to see if security footage was available. Officers responded and took a report regarding the hit-and-run.
