It’s been said more than once that the three most important aspects of baseball are pitching, pitching and pitching.

It’s getting late early on the local high school baseball diamond for teams with post-season aspirations, as El Molino and Analy squads look for a strong finish to their respective North Bay League schedules.

Analy and El Molino track teams turned up the heat in a pair of home dual meets on April 17, as the Tigers played host to Healdsburg, while the Lions entertained Montgomery.

The Eagles remained unbeaten for the 2019 high school softball campaign with another pair of lopsided wins, claiming Clear Lake and Willits as their latest victims.

Analy and El Molino logged a busy stretch on the high school softball diamond, combining for nine games in a four-day period.

The Jaguars are sniffing the finish line in the North Bay League Redwood Division baseball chase, maintaining the top spot in the standings with a pair of wins over El Molino. 

The Windsor High School track team continued to impress at a pair of recent meets, beginning with a dual track meet at Maria Carrillo on April 17 and finishing up on Saturday at the annual Viking Classic meet at Montgomery.
