Pitcher Eric Nielsen struggled in the top of the first inning, loading the bases with only one out on a hit and two walks. The coach called for someone to loosen up. Then Nielsen righted the ship and struck out the next two batters. He gave up no more hits and struck out 11 to win the game, 11-0.
