The Windsor High School swim team served notice of great things to come on Saturday in a preseason meet at Santa Rosa Junior College, logging a strong collective performance.

It was the opening weekend of league play for Our Lady of Guadalupe’s 25 Catholic Youth Organization teams. This week’s game of the week was a 48-41 victory over St. Eugene of Santa Rosa for coach Rene Meza’s 8th grade boys’ team.

Another Our Lady of Guadalupe Church comeback victory was the highlight of this week’s North Bay Catholic Youth Organization play. This time it was coach Scott Simkins’ fifth grade team that rallied to win the game in the final seconds. They defeated Rohnert Park’s St. Elizabeth Seton by a 42-40 final score.
