High school soccer teams will reach the end of the Sonoma County League schedule this week, looking for a strong finish to possibly extend the season.

Cloverdale basketball teams will be looking for a strong finish this month, as Eagle’s boys and girls teams enter the final two-week stretch in the regular season schedule.

The Windsor High School wrestling team continued its quest to regain North Bay League supremacy on Jan. 24, scoring a dominant 57-24 dual meet victory over visiting league contender Cardinal Newman.

Another Our Lady of Guadalupe Church comeback victory was the highlight of this week’s North Bay Catholic Youth Organization play. This time it was coach Scott Simkins’ fifth grade team that rallied to win the game in the final seconds. They defeated Rohnert Park’s St. Elizabeth Seton by a 42-40 final score.

The four-time defending Sonoma County League soccer champion Lady Tigers retained their stranglehold on first place in a tight SCL race, recording a win and a tie in two recent outings.
