Windsor finishes up tough campaign with 3-7 record

It was a mixed bag in varsity girls basketball for the Lady Lions and Tigers this week, with each gaining an even split in their pairs of games.

The 2017 lacrosse season has been nothing short of miraculous for the Windsor High School girls program in its third year of existence, as the Jaguars continue on a remarkable track that has the team scrambling to reset its once-modest goals.

Successful varsity coach back after three-year hiatus

It proved to be the most exciting and suspenseful game of the season so far, the Healdsburg Greyhounds lost to the Peregrine Falcons of Archie Williams High in overtime on Saturday afternoon in San Anselmo, 43-42. 

The Lions are hoping to emerge as the surprise team on the North Bay League golf links this fall, looking to take the Redwood Division by storm in a resurgent season.

The Cloverdale Eagle Pride Booster Club, alongside Washington Junior High physical education teacher Mac Butler, put on a fun and entertaining community basketball tournament fundraiser to raise money for the junior high and high school athletic programs.
