High school soccer season is in full swing for the Cloverdale boys and girls varsity teams, with both setting their sights on a winning campaign.

Holiday shopping will give way to the longest running high school basketball tournament in Northern California this week (Dec. 8-11) as Healdsburg hosts the 72nd annual Redwood Empire Invitational Basketball Tournament. An annual rite of the winter season, the REIBT returns after a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as always, will feature a boys and girl’s tournament running simultaneously starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8 and ending in the championship games on Saturday, Dec. 11.

More students are turning up for wrestling this year, as coach Scott Weidemier’s effort to bring Healdsburg back into the ranks of local powerhouse teams gathers momentum...

Throughout the season the Reveille will publish JV and varsity Chargers football players of the week, as named by coaches. 

It’s down to crunch time for high school wrestlers with visions of postseason success, taking the mat this week in the North Bay League Championships.

High school track & field 

There are many things to love about the Windsor Golf Club. There is excellent golf instruction given by Jason Schmuhl, Molly James, Demian Reddy, Neal Hellman, Patrick Steiner and others. We have a challenging, beautifully conditioned and affordable 18-hole course that is open to all. There’s an excellent practice facility including a grass driving range, chipping area and two putting greens. The chipping and putting greens are always open and always free for the public to use.
