El Molino High School junior Christine Wong is a championship gymnast who just took third place on vault and 11th place all around out of 28 girls in her age group at the 2019 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Western Championships in Spokane, Wash., on May 10 and 12.

Greyhounds capture NBL cross country title
Healdsburg’s cross country program is historically strong, but this year’s runners have set a high bar even for Greyhounds. At the North Bay League Championships meet last weekend, on Nov. 8, three of the top four finishers in the boys varsity, and five of the top 10, represented Healdsburg.
Racing Among the Vines
An exciting cross country match took place last Wednesday at Hoot Owl Vineyards in Alexander Valley. The bucolic vine- and tree-studded setting is undermined by the rugged course, full of steep inclines, sharp turns and some unstable footing.
