The high school volleyball season will kick into high gear this month for El Molino and Analy varsity squads, with both teams gaining an even split in early action last week.

The Eagles are off to a strong start on the league volleyball circuit, recording recent victories over St. Helena and Middletown to push their NCL1 record to 4-2 and 5-2 overall.

For the second year in a row, a Greyhound won the Most Valuable Pitcher award as Eric Nielsen followed 2024's co-winner Mauro-Manos into the exclusive circle. Nielsen’s finishing record of 10 wins and 83 strikeouts led in the league and placed him among the top 10 high school pitchers statewide.
