The Windsor Cal Ripken Baseball League will commemorate its 11th season with Opening Day ceremonies on Saturday, April 21 at Keiser Park with a league-wide parade starting at 10 a.m.

The Healdsburg Little League softball season is off and running for dozens of local kids, playing a spring schedule that will run through May.

The Windsor High School boys golf team is quietly enjoying one of its best ever seasons this spring, rising to the top of the heap in a battle for bragging rights in the North Bay League Oak Division.

Redwood League play kicked off this week with a Tuesday game at home against Elsie Allen (currently 5-5). Although complete stats are not available, the Greyhounds easily bested the Lobos, 62-9, scoring almost at will and shutting down the visiting team’s offense. 

On August 18th and 19th the North Bay Junior Leagues held it’s end of season matches. Rounds 1-4 were hosted by the Windsor Golf Club.  27 juniors from eight different golf clubs participated in nine-hole matches. Participating golf clubs included Bennett Valley, Fairgrounds, Fountaingrove, Healdsburg, Northwood, Petaluma Country Club, Santa Rosa Country Club and Windsor. Results listed below.
