Cloverdale improves to 4-1; visits Kelseyville on Friday

“I believe we were able to bring life back to the program and to the community,” first-year football coach Criss Rosales said. “Regardless of what the record says on paper, we were a very good football team this year and other coaches agree. We are a hungry team with a lot to prove.”

The Cloverdale Eagles were crowned champions of the NCL-1 last week, closing out the league campaign with convincing wins over St. Helena and Clear Lake to secure their first basketball title in five years.

Week two of the league campaign was a good one for Cloverdale High School teams, as the varsity boys and girls combined for four wins in five outings.

The Lady Eagles have set the tone for what promises to be a very exciting softball campaign, recording another pair of wins to push their record to 3-0.

Hounds take 4-3 record into holiday break

“Leading the stats are junior forward Jairo Mendoza with 7 goals and 3 assists. Senior goalkeeper Roy Paz has recorded 3 shutouts,” reported coach Herbert Lemus. “Most of our forwards are in the score sheet with different players providing the assists which is good for our team.”
