Last year, the girls team had their best season in Clark’s half-decade as a coach, winning gold in the division and bronze in the league. This year, they’re down a couple of swimmers to 11 team members—just under the ideal threshold of 12—but they’ve been holding their own in a tough field.

Running Eagles host league cross-country meet

The Cloverdale High School cross-country team played host to Kelseyville, Fort Bragg and St. Helena in a four-way meet contested on the 3-mile course at Asti Winery on Oct. 14.

Early Saturday morning at Spring Lake Regional Park In Santa Rosa, 23 schools from all over the North Bay, including Healdsburg high, descended into the misty valley of the Trione-Annadel hills to run the 37th annual Viking Invitational.
