On June 27, Cloverdale Arts Alliance board president, Nancy Harris Dalwin, presented the Cloverdale Unified School District Board of Directors with a check for $2,500.
Eagle Pride Booster Club Christmas tree lot opening Nov. 29
The Cloverdale Eagle Pride Booster Club is opening their Christmas tree lot this week on Friday, Nov. 29. This is the second year that the club has operated the lot, taking it over from the Cloverdale Lions Club last year. The club financially supports Cloverdale student athletes from seventh grade through high school. The lot is located just north of Cloverdale Ace Hardware.
CHS cross country teams battle Lower Lake
On Wednesday, Oct. 22, the Cloverdale High School Boys Varsity Cross Country team defeated Lower Lake 23/32, led by Emmett Lawson’s fourth place finish in a 23-runner field. Coach Clint Kemp described the course as “a monstrous 2.9 mile course, appropriately named Bald Hill.” Nick Schnieder and Nick Rilea finished 11th and 12th.
