There’s certainly talent on the Healdsburg varsity baseball team, and hustle and confidence. Though their record this season is a modest 11-11, 4-7 in the North Bay Redwood league, their scorecard is overflowing with big-run victories over like-sized opponents, those in Division 4.

Senior and league MVP Tehya Mitchell led the Healdsburg Hounds in girls golf this season. She was medalist in all 12 matches she played in, averaging just one stroke over par this season.

The varsity football Eagles wrapped up a resurgent gridiron campaign on Friday, falling to host St. Helena 28-7.
