The varsity softball Eagles received some well-earned recognition following a championship season this month when coaches gathered to cast their ballots in All-League voting.

The Lady Eagles have set the tone for what promises to be a very exciting softball campaign, recording another pair of wins to push their record to 3-0.

"Our last event as a team will be a team dinner May 22 at the local Healdsburg Bollywood restaurant," said Stan Bischof. "Since we have many seniors, next year will be a recruiting year. I will host open badminton sessions at Healdsburg High for current and incoming students who are perhaps interested in badminton."

“I believe we were able to bring life back to the program and to the community,” first-year football coach Criss Rosales said. “Regardless of what the record says on paper, we were a very good football team this year and other coaches agree. We are a hungry team with a lot to prove.”

Cloverdale High School baseball and softball teams will start a new season this week, as both prepare for what could be strong North Coast Section playoff runs.
