NCS tourneys extend season for Greyhounds
With this season’s NBL play now passed, both the boys baseball and girls softball teams look forward to the North Coast Section tournament of the top 16 teams in each division. The girls play in Division 5, the boys in Division 4.
Tennis Boys Play On Through April
The irregular thwack-thwop-pop of tennis rises up from the high school courts every afternoon of the week, and often on weekends, as the student-athletes of Healdsburg High School hone their serves, returns, backspins and lobs. It seems worth the while: The school’s boys tennis team is definitely competitive this year.

Hall of Fame Welcomes 5 New Athletes
Healdsburg is justifiably proud of its student-athletes, and since 1992 has honored them by inclusion in an Athletic Hall of Fame. There are currently 49 members of this exclusive club, including honorary members, and on Feb. 25 five more names were added to the rolls.
Lady Greyhounds Sweep League Playoffs
The Lady Greyhounds defeated Rancho Cotate by a comfortable 12-point margin, giving them the right to hang the NCS-Redwood pennant in the Smith Robinson gym for the second year in a row.
