The Lady Jags varsity swim team wrapped up a great league season
on Saturday, as the team captured a third-place overall finish. The
strong showing at the SCL finals capped a tremendous week of
competition for the ladies that included a first-ever win over
Healdsburg in a dual meet on Tuesday.
Sophomore Kelsey Louden was a double winner at the SCL meet,
garnering league titles in both the 100-meter breaststroke and 200m
IM. Also grabbing individual league championships were Jenna
Patalano (200m freestyle) and Nina Menth (50m freestyle). Louden
posted NCS qualifying times in the 200m IM and 100m breaststroke
and will swim a leg on the 400m freestyle relay team, which also
includes Patalano, Menth and Jenna Millan. The NCS meet takes place
this Friday and Saturday.
