The Analy swim team wrapped up a championship season on Saturday
at the North Coast Section Championships in Concord on May
21-22.
Representing Analy at the meet were NCS qualifiers; junior Nick
Johnson, and freshmen sensations Nate Kuhn, Alyssa Smith, and
Rebecca Baxley.
Baxley, who shattered a pair of meet records in capturing two
league titles a week earlier, turned in a great NCS performance
with a fifth-place medal in the 100-Backstkroke in 56.90, and
captured 11th overall in the 200 IM in 2:06.94.
Kuhn was equally impressive at NCS, finishing sixth overall in
the 500-Freestyle in a fast 4:43.27, and taking 37th in the
200-Freestyle.  
Johnson capped a great season with a 16th-place showing in the
100-Breaststroke in 1:00.98.  Smith competed in the 100-Butterfly,
finishing in 34th place with a time of 1:01.74
In addition, the Analy girls 200 Medley Relay team of Baxley,
Corine Vierra, Smith, and Ashley Boyle finished 19th at NCS in
1:56.18.  The boys 200 Medley Relay team of Kuhn, Johnson, Gabe
Horrell, and Michael Behler captured 34th overall in 1:47.64.  
El Molino was also represented at the NCS meet, with brothers
Robert and Daniel Coxon competing in the 1-Meter Diving event. 
Both turned in impressive performances, as Daniel took ninth with a
score of 330.70, while Robert captured 15th overall in 301.55.
