Jendala Day and Other Events: On behalf of the Utsch family and her friends, celebrate the life, art and positivity of Jen “Jendala” Utsch, long an energy force in Healdsburg. Includes a ceremony at 1pm in the garden and performances by Todd Bugbee’s Dead Roses. From noon to 3:30pm at Villa Chanticleer.

It’s about time a Michael Jackson tribute band showed up in town. “Rock With You – the Michael Jackson Experience” features two MJ tribute artists heading a 10-plus-piece live ensemble, claiming to be the only MJ tribute in the world to have 100% live vocals. Among this weekend's events is Taste of Sonoma, the long-running annual food and wine celebration from Sonoma County Tourism. It takes over Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate and Garden on Saturday from noon to 4pm. Over 100 wineries will participate, plus food trucks, a beer garden and more.

Healdsburg High's graduation was last Friday, but this coming week the 'celebration' won't let up - the Healdsburg Jazz Festival, Vamos al Tianguis, and the No Kings march, Saturday noon at the roundabout.

Sundays in the Plaza is an alternative to Tuesday’s big concert, from 1-3pm at the Plaza, this week featuring the Healdsburg Community Band. Gary Johnson will conduct big-band favorites, two-steps, marches, folk music, Broadway/movie music, a Spanish overture and the finale of the William Tell Overture. Free.

History Talks: The docents of the Healdsburg Museum once again present programs at the Plaza on Saturdays, 10am to noon. “The Annals of Alexander Valley” is this week’s topic; show up early as attendance seems to get higher every weekend. Plus “Many Paths to Healdsburg” is the theme of the new exhibit opening this Saturday at the museum.
