Healdsburg High's graduation was last Friday, but this coming week the 'celebration' won't let up - the Healdsburg Jazz Festival, Vamos al Tianguis, and the No Kings march, Saturday noon at the roundabout.

The popular summer concert series Tuesdays in the Plaza continues with the Tierra Caliente music from La Sentencia de Tuzantla, featuring musicians from Michoacan. Arrive early to claim your space. Onsite food vendors offer locally sourced food for sale starting at 5pm, music from 6-8pm.

This free and family friendly event shines a spotlight on the talented recipients of the Diversity in the Arts Grant as a Latin American fair with live music, dancers, photographers, visual artists and more.

The popular summer Tuesday concert series continues with the celebrated Tom Rigney and Flambeau performing authentic Zydeco and Cajun music on Aug. 5. It's also National Night Out for law enforcement so get there early to meet the cops and claim your space.

Two actors in 'Holes'
'Holes,' an early Shia LaBeouf movie from 2003 about a mysterious desert camp for delinquents, should make for an entertaining PG family night at the Healdsburg Plaza. With Sigourney Weaver, Jon Voight and Henry Winkler, directed by Andrew Davis ('The Fugitive'). Bring blankets, low chairs and snacks. Free, opens at 7pm, movie after 8pm.

Locals listen to a lecture in Healdsburg's Plaza.
History Talks: The docents of the Healdsburg Museum once again present programs at the Plaza on Saturdays, 10am to noon. “The Annals of Alexander Valley” is this week’s topic; show up early as attendance seems to get higher every weekend. Plus “Many Paths to Healdsburg” is the theme of the new exhibit opening this Saturday at the museum.
