Jonathan Spector’s Eureka Day is a play with deep Bay Area roots. Originally commissioned by Berkeley’s Aurora Theatre and first performed in 2018, it won the 2019 San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award for Original Script and Theatre Bay Area’s Will Glickman Award for best new play to premiere in the Bay Area. It's now at Healdsburg's Raven Theater, until Sept. 21.

Jendala Day and Other Events: On behalf of the Utsch family and her friends, celebrate the life, art and positivity of Jen “Jendala” Utsch, long an energy force in Healdsburg. Includes a ceremony at 1pm in the garden and performances by Todd Bugbee’s Dead Roses. From noon to 3:30pm at Villa Chanticleer.

Pachanga! The city’s celebration of arts grants winners is Saturday Sept. 6 at the Healdsburg Plaza, starting at 5:30pm. This free and family friendly event shines a spotlight on the talented recipients of the Diversity in the Arts Grant as a Latin American fair with live music, dancers, photographers, visual artists and more.

The popular summer Tuesday concert series continues with the celebrated Tom Rigney and Flambeau performing authentic Zydeco and Cajun music on Aug. 5. It's also National Night Out for law enforcement so get there early to meet the cops and claim your space.
