Editor: This year, as in years past, the Windsor Fire Protection
District assisted Toys for Tots and the Windsor Kiwanis by
providing bins for people to drop off toys for children who might
not otherwise find anything under the tree Christmas morning. Once
again this year, the bins were filled to overflowing, not once, but
several times. Hundreds of toys were delivered by kind and generous
people, many of them children.
As always, we are moved by the extraordinary generosity of our
community. We at Windsor Fire join with the US Marine Corps
Reserve, the Windsor Kiwanis, and the many children who received
these toys in saying thank you. We wish everyone a safe and happy
new year.
-Matt Gustafson, Battalion Chief, Windsor Fire Protection
District
