Police Log, Feb. 15-22
7:01am Employees on Healdsburg Avenue found evidence of a commercial burglary. There was a broken window and blood on the ground by the window. Officers responded, checked the building and did not locate any suspects. A report was taken. Subsequently the owner of the business reported a vehicle missing.

Police Log, Dec. 30, 2024 – Jan. 5, 2025
On Jan. 3, at 12:30am, a man on University Street at Haydon Street stated that two teenagers were in a vehicle driving erratically. While on the phone, dispatch heard the RP and 2 other subjects in a verbal dispute. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted both teenagers. An 18-YO man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a felony and committing a hate crime. The other 18-YO man was arrested for conspiracy to commit a felony, committing a hate crime and battery. They were brought to county jail.
Day at the Coast
The local Sonoma County coast is popular during these days of the COVID-19 pandemic when many people are seeking a respite from too much sheltering-in-place. Not all the coastal scenes are crowded beaches or closed parking lots. There are also some scenes that depict “life as normal.”

Monday, Sept. 11:47am A vehicle was stopped on March Avenue at Tulip Court for swerving and violation of license plate rules. A 34-Year-Old (YO) man was arrested and brought to county jail for driving under the influence (DUI) and possession of methamphetamine. And so the week begins...
