He tried to get the driver’s attention but the person drove off. The RP was not the owner of the vehicle and stated the vehicle was a company car. An officer advised the RP to have the owner of the vehicle call the police department if the owner wanted a report...."

Decking the Halls, Dec. 5
FESTIVE FUN — Ms. Miranda’s first grade class (pictured above) joined a handful of classes from Jefferson Elementary to decorate Christmas trees in downtown businesses on Thursday, Dec. 5. Students were welcomed at each participating business with a tree waiting for decorations, and some treats. Ms. Miranda’s class decorated a tree for the Cloverdale Reveille and Mail Center, Etc. office.
Aspiring to be tobacco free
Imagine that you’re sitting with a friend, they’re vaping, and suddenly they start to choke on the aerosol they’re inhaling. In an effort to save them, you go through a door that transports you to “smoke city,” an alternate reality where tobacco rules. From there, you have to complete a series of tasks and tests in order to find your friend, who’s still having a negative reaction to the vape. That’s the premise of ASPIRE (A Smoking Prevention Interactive Experience), a game developed to help educate young people on the impacts of tobacco and nicotine.
