At 12:25pm, petty theft occurred at Big John’s Market on Healdsburg Avenue. A man stole a sandwich worth $10.74. An officer responded, spoke to the RP and subsequently contacted the suspect at his residence. The theft may have been accidental, and the suspect went back to the store to settle his tab.

WALKING FOR WATER — The Cloverdale High School Key Club hosted its first annual Save the Rain-Bow Color Blast on Sept. 15. According to Key Club Advisor Sue Cummins, the blast had a total of 21 volunteers (from the Kiwanis Club, Key Club and Builders Club) and 64 participants. Blast attendees of all ages ran, walked and jogged their way through stations of colored cornstarch. The Key Club raised approximately $1900, which will go toward bringing clean water to 125 children in Africa.

Monday, Oct. 30 11:11am A reporting party (RP) called police from Gallery Lulo on Center Street saying that an extremely angry woman was yelling and cursing. Officers responded and arrested a 50-year-old (YO) woman for violating probation and took her to county jail. Tuesday, Oct. 31 8:23am...

A burglary occurred either March 15 or March 16 at Giorgio’s Restaurant on Grant Avenue. An office window and side window were shattered and the basement broken into. It appeared nothing was taken. Items were on the floor and possibly a bottle of tequila was consumed.

Monday, Dec. 16: An officer stopped a vehicle on Matheson Street at Center Street for suspicion of having expired registration. The vehicle displayed a license plate that did not belong to the vehicle. Through a search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded handgun and about half an ounce of suspected methamphetamines. A 36-YO woman and 51-YO man were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and having forged or altered registration.
