Monday Sept. 30, An officer near Carl’s Jr. on Vine Street stopped a subject on a bike, arresting a 49-YO man and transporting him to county jail for possession of methamphetamine, violation of probation, shoplifting and on an outstanding Sonoma County warrant regarding failure to appear on a felony charge.... Barrio Manouche—from the Spanish word for, essentially, “neighborhood,” and a name by which certain clans of the Romany Gypsy people identify themselves, is a collection of extremely accomplished instrumentalists who hail from around the world. The music is modern but ancient, drawing heavily as it does from the Romany Gypsy tradition, with its guitars and violins, exotic melodies and emphasis on improvisation.Â

This is getting more common: "4:24pm The RP on Brown Street at Sherman Street said three juveniles recklessly ran stop signs on bikes. The RP said one almost hit his vehicle. An officer contacted the juveniles. They were advised and admonished."

Babies had their chance to shine on Monday, Feb. 17 during the Baby Derby. Switching up from years past, this year’s contestants raced on a cheerleading mat set up in the middle of the fair auditorium, rather than on the large auditorium stage.

Monday 3:36pm The RP indicated that a vehicle on Highway 101 at Old Redwood Highway was weaving in and out of traffic and slamming on the brakes in front of vehicles.
