The RP indicated that a red pickup truck was being driven too fast and in the center median on Bailhache Avenue near the railroad tracks. The shirtless driver subsequently got out of his vehicle. Officers responded and arrested and jailed a 44-YO man for possessing a leaded cane or baton, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs and changing or altering required markings on a firearm or an imitation firearm to look more like a firearm....

An officer contacted a woman in the West Plaza Park on North Street after being told of an encampment behind the dumpsters. A 47-year-old (YO) woman was arrested and transported to county jail for resisting arrest and on an outstanding warrant regarding check fraud and a violation of an order to appear in court. Plaza protest, May 31
Around 50 community members gathered at the Cloverdale Plaza on May 31 for a peaceful protest calling attention to the death of George Floyd.

Vandalism was reported at Healdsburg Community Center on Healdsburg Avenue. An unknown vehicle did “donuts” in the grass field and caused over $4,000 of damage. No suspect has been identified.

Day in the life: 7:09pm The RP on Fitch Street stated that about 10 people were in a physical fight in front of her house. The RP heard yelling, cussing, slapping and hitting. Officers responded and made contact with two subjects. Medical help was staged, but subsequently canceled. A report was taken.

8:23am. Officer-initiated activity at Wicked Slush, Healdsburg Ave., Healdsburg. A 25-year-old man was arrested for “assault with a deadly weapon“ and transported to Sonoma County Jail for an incident on May 7.

Crushing it once again for the B&G Clubs
In winemaking, “crush” is not only an act essential to the art and industry of viticulture, but a term for the seasonal turn from growing to winemaking, of harvesting the grapes and releasing their juice and pulp so fermentation can begin. In Healdsburg, it's a seasonal winetasting celebration, held this year on Oct. 11.
