9:38pm A woman on Powell Avenue near the laundromat screamed at people and asked for marijuana and beer. An officer contacted the woman and she agreed to quiet down.

Police Log, July 21 – July 27

Healdsburg Policer on patrol
11:28am An accident with property damage was reported on Hwy 101 at Dry Creek Road. A Healdsburg officer located a damaged vehicle in the No. 1 lane and waited for California Highway Patrol to arrive. The officer searched the area for the suspect vehicle, but it was gone on arrival and unable to be located.

Tuesday, Aug. 15 1:51pm. A subcontractor was removed from a job site on Healdsburg Avenue but returned with four other males. When confronted, they claimed they were there to work. They were escorted off the premises again and later the reporting party (RP) noticed damage...

Don't drive buzzed. "2:54pm A vehicle was stopped on Piper Street at Center Street for violating registration rules. A 38-Year-Old (YO) man was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, driving without a license and lacking proof of insurance. A 47-YO man was cited and released for misuse of license and registration documents, violation of probation, violation of vehicle registration rules, violation of the open container law, and on outstanding Sonoma County warrants regarding driving with a license suspended for driving under the influence (DUI) and driving without a required ignition interlock device...."

Santa Rosa Symphony Young People’s Chamber Orchestra, Mar. 1

CPAC welcomes back for their fourth appearance this young string orchestra, a winner of the statewide annual Berkeley Junior Bach Festival. Working without a conductor this student ensemble delights with their level of musicianship and attentive collaboration with one another. Special guest will be Lewis Patzner, classically trained cellist with a growing reputation as an innovative cross-over musician and composer. Performance lasts an hour with no intermission.

Fiddling Around, March 7

JAM SESSSION — The 43rd annual Old Time Fiddle Festival was held last weekend on March 7. The festival came back after a yearlong hiatus and seemed to take a hit in attendance as a result of COVID-19. During the event, event director Judith Jones said that two scheduled vendors dropped out before the event due to the virus and that she expected attendance took a hit for the same reason.
