Local climate advocacy groups rally in the Plaza for continued climate action
Several local climate coalition groups and other advocacy groups convened at Plaza Park on Monday at 5 p.m. to call for continued climate action and to thank the Healdsburg City Council for naming climate mobilization as one of their top priorities for the new fiscal year.
Día de Los Muertos events going forward with COVID considerations
Windsor Día de los Muertos is offering safe, socially-distanced fun events throughout October. Scheduled events include a display of altars on the Town Green throughout the month of October, a free sugar skull crafting kit giveaway, a Día de los Muertos Lowrider Car Show at the farmers market and a youth portrait competition and art show.

A Simple Gesture makes it easy to help out
Dave Henderson, a recent new member of Healdsburg’s Noon Rotary Club, was looking for a way to help with the current situation of food insecurity. “I was going to launch a food collection program together with the Redwood Empire Food Bank, and then talked to them quite a bit,” he said. “Then just by chance I found out about this ‘A Simple Gesture’ program.”
