An extended parade meandered throughout Cloverdale on Friday night, Oct. 30. Dubbed the Spooky Cloverdale Crawl, the parade was organized with the goal of being more COVID-19-conscious, so folks could head from their house to the nearest parade route street and watch the floats go by as kids collect candy.

The Windsor Town Council is meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 1 and is slated to discuss the appointment of an interim town manager, the possible approval to the second amendment of the town’s exclusive negotiating agreement with the Robert Green Company for the Civic Center project and the implementation of SB 1383. The council will also be holding a public hearing for  its multi-family residential objective design standards. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. and will be over both Zoom and in-person at the council chambers. Those attending in person will be required to wear masks. The full council agenda can be found here.

Those who walk by Byron Gibbs Park in Healdsburg can expect to see a bright new addition — a mural depicting an ombre rainbow is being put up on a stretch of patch-painted fence near Poppy Hill Drive this weekend, from June 26 to June 30.

Over 150 volunteers to assist with countywide census

For a few weeks, Corazón Healdsburg CEO Glaydon de Freitas has been worried for his staff and clients regarding questioning around Corazón’s mission and values. Public comments have been made criticizing the nonprofit’s pro-vaccination stance. De Freitas said emails have been sent to the organization and people have shown up at the Corazón office because of the same reason.
