CUSD board heading back to in-person meetings Wednesday
For the first time in nearly a year and a half, the Cloverdale Unified School District (CUSD) Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet in person at the Cloverdale High School Maker Space on Wednesday, July 21. WSCUHSD board to discuss postponing rebranding timeline
The West Sonoma County Union High School District board will discuss Superintendent Toni Beal’s request to consider postponing the campus rebranding of Analy High School and Laguna High School at a special board meeting over Zoom at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, according to the agenda sent early Tuesday evening.

Palm Drive Board grants Gravenstein Health Action $200,000
At what was supposed to be its last meeting before dissolution, the Palm Drive Health Care District (PDHCD) board voted 3-2 to grant Gravenstein Health Action, formerly the board’s community health subcommittee, $200,000 in seed money to fund its transition to a new nonprofit organization. Gail Thomas, Eira Klich-Heartt and Dennis Colthurst voted in favor of the grant, while Richard Power and an obviously torn Randy Coffman voted against it.

Stage face-off: Revenge vs. rivalry
Local audiences seeking a solid presentation of an American theatrical classic have two very diverse options right now. The Raven Performing Arts Theater hosts Stephen Sondheim’s massive macabre musical, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," while The 222 offers Sam Shepard’s more intimate fraternal drama, "True West." Both run in Healdsburg through Nov. 8.
