Police Log, Oct. 13-19
Oct. 13, 5:04pm: A hit-and-run accident occurred on Dry Creek Road at Grove Street. A truck hit a traffic light causing damage to the signal pole. The truck also suffered a blown tire. A report was taken. At 7:09pm, the employer of the driver of the truck indicated that the driver hit the pole and did not report it because the driver did not think there was damage.
Burn permits required as of May 1
CalFire is once again requiring burn permits for any outdoor open burning in local state responsibility areas. Burn permits are available to residents in Sonoma, Napa, Solano, Yolo and Colusa counties and are required as of May 1.

Council reviewing mid-year budget on Wednesday
This week’s Cloverdale City Council agenda is small, with the council viewing two presentations and tackling two regular agenda items — the city’s mid-year budget report and an ordinance amendment that would include small cellular facility regulations into the city’s wireless telecommunications code. The council meeting begins at 6 p.m. and is being held virtually over Zoom, and will be livestreamed on the city’s YouTube channel.
