Henry-1 rescues trapped firefighters in Marin Woodward Fire
Sonoma County Sheriff’s helicopter Henry-1 made a daring rescue Friday evening near the Woodward Fire that’s burning southwest of Olema in Marin County. In a long-line rescue, the Henry-1 crew were able to rescue two Marin County firefighters who became trapped by the fire on the ridgeline and were unable to escape the area due to the advancing flames.

Foppoli tests positive for COVID, apologizes after backlash for attending an event
The Nov. 4 meeting of the Windsor town council started off unusually, with an apology from current and projected future mayor, Dominic Foppoli. Foppoli, who looks on track to be Windsor’s first elected mayor (he currently holds the title under the old system of council-nominated mayors), wanted to respond to recent outcry over his decision to attend a town event after a positive COVID test.
