On Friday, March 10, community members gathered at the Healdsburg Community Center for fun and education concerning immigration policies, DMV processes, civil rights and medical services for all community members, regardless of citizenship.

Healdsburg native John Biasotti was known to many as an outgoing and friendly man who worked hard at his grocery store, Biasotti’s Market. He was also known as an adept carpenter and mechanic, fisherman and boat racer and he’ll surely be remembered not only for his many hobbies and achievements, but also for the positive impact he had on family and friends.

The Windsor Unified School District (WUSD) Board of Trustees is meeting July 7 at 5:30 p.m. to authorize the election of school board members in the fall 2020 election.

‘School Days Then and Now’ at Healdsburg Museum

The Healdsburg Museum and Historical Society’s newest exhibition “School Days Then and Now” will appeal to everyone, young and old, residents and visitors. The area’s first schools, beginning in 1858 were all privately financed. Not until 1871 was there a public school in Healdsburg.

Jam’s Joy Bungalow declares ‘Free Food April’ for those who can’t pay

Since Christmas, Jam’s Joy Bungalow on the square in Sebastopol has been providing free meals for anyone who needs it between 3-5 pm on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month.  This month, that schedule didn’t work for her, so Jam’s owner Jamilah Nixon declared “Free Food April,” offering to provide a delicious meal to those who can’t afford to pay (no questions asked) during the whole month of April.
