Student mural celebrates Windsor’s fire survival

Students, first responders, town officials and locals gathered below an archway in downtown Windsor Thursday, Oct. 28 to see the mural commemorating firefighters and others who defended the town from the 2019 Kincade Fire.

Drive-thru food drive in Sebastopol on Jan. 18

Food for Thought (FFT) is holding a drive-thru food drive in Sebastopol on Monday, Jan. 18. The food drive is being held at the Sebastopol Grange from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HJH Career Day shows students the path forward

The annual Healdsburg Junior High Career Day took place on April 19, with over 20 local businesses and individuals taking part. The day kicked off with a keynote speaker, David Hamelburg, founder of Boomerang Plus, who talked to the students about important skills for getting hired and how to be successful in their careers. He specifically covered soft skills, such as communication and introduction skills, such as practicing a professional handshake.
