Different anniversaries
This week marks the second anniversary of our 2017 wildfires that destroyed 5,600 homes and claimed the lives of 44 people.
Main Street: Voting
A confession – I have not voted in every election since I came of voting age. In my early 20s, I thought – like most of my friends and family – that voting was for establishment types, people who were oblivious to the truth that the system is rigged. (Sound familiar?)

Dragging tables is a good way to get scolded
A new brochure has been published for the Healdsburg Farmers Market and in a short paragraph titled “The Market Story,” it reads that the market was “established in 1978 by two families, the Kiffs and the Bernier.”
