The graduating class of female student/athletes of 2016 from Analy and El Molino High Schools will be remembered for their many accomplishments both on the field and in the classroom.

The West County High School (WCHS) varsity softball team recorded its first highlight of the spring campaign last weekend at the 20th annual Dandelion Days Tournament in Jackson, winning three of four games played to hoist the first-place Silver Division trophy.

The Cloverdale cross country team traveled to Kelseyville for a challenging three mile race on Wednesday, Oct. 26. It was a clear, warm day and the runners felt lucky to have a break in the rain.

Local challenge — Windsor residents Tiffany Bronzan and her friend Lisa Langdale, are avid distance runners, and this summer they set out on what they dubbed "The Windsor Challenge":  to run the length of every public road in the town of Windsor. While the actual "road mileage" was something like 78 miles, according to Broznan’s husband Brandon, with all the routes and back tracking the challenge took around 250 miles to complete it. 

Throughout the school year, the Windsor Times will name a male and female athlete of the week. Recipients will receive a free small soda, small bag of chips and sandwich from Pohley’s Market.

The Windsor High School wrestling team wrapped up one of its best seasons in school history on March 2-3, sending a pair of athletes to the CIF State Wrestling Championships at Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield.
