The Analy varsity boys and girls swim teams ran the table at the
Sonoma County League Championships last Saturday, posting
convincing wins to end the league season undefeated.
The meet, held at the Petaluma Swim Center, was a showcase of
both talent and speed, as Analy boasted league champions Max
Horrell (100-fly, 100-back), Hank Weinberger (50-free) and Alison
Blom (100-fly). Winning relay teams for both the Analy boys and
girls included the 200-medley, 200-free and 400 free.
In all, the Tigers will send 14 swimmers to Saturday¹s NCS
championships including: Horrell (100 fly and 100 back), Hank
Weinberger (50 free and 100 back) boys 200 medley relay, 200 free
relay and 400 free relay (Horrell, Weinberger, Ben Klotz, Brett
Heath and alternates Garrett Anderson, Russell Deghi and Niko
Miller).
In addition, El Mo sophomore star and double league champion
David Sallee will represent the Lions at NCS in the 100 and 200
freestyle events.
The Analy girls will be represented by NCS qualifier Alison Blom
(100 fly), along with the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400
free relay (Alison Blom, Amy Tresenrider, Sarah Eastland and Hannah
Weinberger).
