The Healdsburg Museum reopens Saturday after an interior remodel with a new exhibit, “Pomo Weavers Society,” which includes baskets, artwork, dresses and regalia by local Indigenous artists. Through Nov. 2, open Wednesdays through Sundays, 11am-4pm, 221 Matheson St. healdsburgmuseum.org. 

Independence Day begins in Healdsburg at 10am with the traditional Kids Parade and Duck Dash, live music and activities for all including games, races and music. More fun later this week with our Healdsburg events calendar.

“The Musical Bridge” is an AI music installation provided by Magical Bridge Foundation, known for its award-winning intergenerational playgrounds, as a way to bring awareness and support for the Badger Park project.

It’s time again to set all clocks forward an hour to comport with Daylight Saving Time, to make better use of the longer daylight available during summer. Officially begins at 2am, which becomes 3am when clocks are set forward. DST runs until Nov. 2, the first Sunday in November.
