California’s new COVID-19 vaccine system to start Monday
State health officials announced last week that all counties will start playing by the same rulebook on March 1, when Blue Shield will take over distribution of vaccines in California. Counties across California will have a phased in transition to the new plan, with Blue Shield taking over vaccine distribution for Sonoma County on March 7.
