Water year resolutions
It used to be that only weather nerds and hydrologists celebrated the new water year that began on October 1, but as we emerge from California’s fourth year of drought, I argue that we’re all weather nerds now – so Happy New Year.
Strickland named Managing Editor
Zoë Strickland has been named managing editor at Sonoma West Publishers (SWP). Prior to being selected as managing editor, Strickland served as the editor of the Cloverdale Reveille, beginning in 2018.
Sebastopol council reviewing ordinance that would ban new gas stations
At the Sebastopol City Council meeting Tuesday night, April 5, the council is expected to hold two public hearings — one on an ordinance that would prohibit new gas stations in Sebastopol and another that would modify the eligibility requirements for planning commissioners.
