At an event on the Town Green on June 19, people came forward to share their experiences with racism in Windsor. There was an “open mic” for those who wished to speak publicly and also a table of craft supplies for those who preferred to make posters or post cards about their experiences.

Promotion Parade, June 4

A parade was held for Washington School eighth graders Thursday night, June 4, to help celebrate promoting students' who are on their way to high school. Parents drove students down North Cloverdale Boulevard as families and loved ones cheered them on. 

Police Log, Nov. 11 – 17

Stormy streets
Monday, Nov. 11, 4:20pm: An accident occurred on Grant Street which involved a vehicle hitting a 7-year-old female pedestrian.  The girl was conscious and not bleeding, and her father declined medical assistance. The driver of the vehicle left her contact information with someone before leaving the scene.
