Windsor Town Council requests Civil Grand Jury action to remove Foppoli
In a statement dated May 6, the Town Council of Windsor announced it has formally requested that the Sonoma County District Attorney authorize grand jury proceedings against at-large Mayor Dominic Foppoli due to his “willful or corrupt misconduct in office” related to sexual assault allegations made by several women.
Burn permits suspended
CalFire announced May 5 that it would be suspending burn permits, banning all residential outdoor burning of landscape debris, such as branches and leaves, in the state responsibility areas in Sonoma, Napa, Lake, Solano, Yolo and Colusa counties, effective May 10.
